Originally from Huntsville, Alabama, Sarah lives in Marietta, Ohio with her two coon hounds Chloe and Gator. Sarah has experience in project management in her professional career and event planning through non-profit involvement and throughout her education. Besides working full time with the federal government, Sarah is also a Bride-to-Be and also coaches high school cheerleading.
Sarah enjoys working in wedding and event planning because she understands the importance of being worry free on your special day and loves to add her creativity to the event planning process.

Laura Bostaph
Lead Planner + Coordinator
Charlotte, North Carolina
Laura is a West Virginia native who moved to Charlotte, NC in 2011. Starting her career as an Elementary School teacher provided her with the organizational skills, structure and strong qualities it requires to be in the wedding and event industries. Throughout the years, Laura has also worked in the hospitality industry in catering and event planning. After a decade of teaching she decided to pivot into Sales which has also helped shape her into the experienced planner she is today.
Laura and her husband Seth, welcomed their first baby in 2022. He is her favorite thing in the world and she has fully embraced the “toddler momma era”. Laura loves going to concerts, taking girls trips and going on coffee and donut dates with her little one.

Devon Burnfield
Operations Manager
Devon is a West Virginia native who began working with Little Black Dress in 2013. He has been professionally trained and has worked beside Misti and her team for over a decade. Devon has learned the true “brand” and what it means to be a part of the LBD family. Devon has over 10 years of wedding planning experience, in multiple aspects of the industry making his knowledge well rounded on the ins and outs of the industry. He has received his Certification as an Advanced Wedding Planner and Stylist. He also has a background in Hospitality Sales Management.
Devon’s calm demeanor, love for logistics and entrepreneurial mind make him a perfect fit for his role as Operations Manager. Devon prides himself in spending time with his family and friends and his four-legged baby girl, Bella.
