About Misti
A West Virginia native, Misti has always had a love for all things beautiful—especially weddings. As the owner and lead planner of Little Black Dress Events, she is passionate about creating unique, unforgettable celebrations that reflect each couple’s personality and vision.
Misti’s journey into event planning began in 2000, when she took on the role of Event Coordinator at a luxury country club in Wilmington and Charlotte, NC. After a decade of experience, she returned to her home state to bring her expertise and signature touch to West Virginia, Ohio, Charlotte, NC, and Pittsburgh, PA.
Known for her bubbly personality, contagious laugh, and quirky sense of humor, Misti brings joy, energy, and creativity to every event. She’s even known to make up random words and phrases throughout the day, keeping things light and fun—because she believes wedding planning should be exciting, not stressful!
With over 25 years of experience, Misti continues to set the standard for exceptional wedding and event planning, combining flawless execution with a fun and approachable touch.
